Virtual therapy for young adults learning to navigate life transitions

Adulting is hard. You don’t have to go at it alone

Individuals in their twenties and thirties struggling with life transitions, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, confidence and identity difficulties, or challenges that may arise from moving out on your own.

Who I work with

Life Transitions

This period in our lives is defined by its transitory nature. There are many new factors, changes, and decisions to make. Feeling overwhelmed and stuck is natural, but it does not need to stay that way. I can support you in getting unstuck.

Finding Your Purpose

Your twenties and thirties revolve around many big life choices. Defining who you want to be, coupled with the pressure to find your purpose in life, all while trying to stay afloat with the rest of your responsibilities and demands can be overwhelming at times. Together, we can work to help you feel more grounded and connected to yourself.

Connecting to Your Inner Voice

With a myriad of voices around us, it can be hard to connect to your own unique inner voice. It's crucial to be able to liberate that voice as distinct from those of our families, friends or society at large. I look forward to supporting you in finding your own unique voice again and lowering the volume on the external noise.

You know yourself best.

I offer a gentle guiding hand to help you on your journey.

What you can expect from working with me

I enter therapy as a human, not just an expert. Therapy is a partnership between us, where you're the expert of your life and self. Therapy with me will be whatever you make of it – you bring yourself, and I’m here to help you along the way.

I believe in a holistic approach to mental (and physical) health. I draw from several different modalities to provide the best treatment for each client. Whether it's Psychodynamic Therapy, Play Therapy for adults, or Person-Centered Therapy, I tailor the treatment to meet the specific needs of each client.

Therapy is not only a troubleshooting tool we can use when we're struggling. I strongly believe it is an opportunity to strengthen our mental health and learn skills and tools when things are "going well" that we can then tap back into when we're having a hard time. Similar to the importance of maintaining our physical health through fitness, movement and nutrition, therapy is that medium for our mental health.

Does this sound familiar?

Our twenties and thirties can be confusing, overwhelming and surprisingly lonely. In what often feels like a swirling world where it seems like everyone has it together and you're the only one struggling, trying to make sense of newfound responsibilities, life experiences, expectations and life transitions, it's common to feel scared and even paralyzed. It may feel like you’re meant to "just know" what to do or how to manage and cope, but what happens when you don’t or you can’t? You can feel overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, lonely, isolated, or lost.

It can be hard to talk to friends or family, especially if it seems like they have it all under control. You may feel ashamed, or spend too much time beating yourself up wondering why you're struggling so much. You just want to figure it out, move forward and feel less sad and depleted. You want to enjoy your life again, have fun with your friends and family, find a meaningful partnership, or move toward figuring out your purpose.

This experience is much more common than it feels, and reaching out for help is a courageous first step. We can work together to help you learn yourself better and reconnect to your inner voice.

I offer online therapy allowing for flexibility, convenience, and an added level of comfort and security, being in your own home and space while in session.
